Cold temps change baseball's weekend schedule

ABILENE – Due to low and declining temperatures, Abilene Christian's baseball series against Southeast Missouri has a change to the schedule, ACU officials announced. There will be no game played on Friday, Feb. 24. Instead, the teams will play a pair of doubleheaders on Saturday and Sunday to ensure that four games get in this weekend.
The games will take place on Saturday, Feb. 25 and Sunday, Feb. 26 at Crutcher Scott Field.
The new schedule is as follows:
Saturday, Feb. 25 (Doubleheader) - 1:05 p.m. / 4:05 p.m. (or 45 minutes after the conclusion of Game 1)
Sunday, Feb. 26 (Doubleheader) - 11:05 a.m. / 2:05 p.m. (or 45 minutes after the conclusion of Game 1)
The first game of each doubleheader will be a seven-inning game, and the back-half of the twin bills will be scheduled for nine innings. If the first game each day goes to extra innings, the second game will be changed to seven innings.
There will be no live stream of the games on Saturday, but Sunday's games will both air on WAC International.
