ABILENE – Abilene Christian captured four wins in the Abilene Christian Invitational on Sunday, including two flight championships.
Andrea Guerrero won the Flight C title and
Masha Vrsalovic won Flight D with a 6-2, 6-1 win over Dora Kuridi of New Mexico State.
Crisologo won and
Hebe Toyos defeated Maretha Burger of Tarleton State in consolation matches.
"We finished up today with a good showing," said ACU Head Coach Bryan Rainwater. "MJ, Masha, Andy, and Hebe all got W's. I was pleased with the fight we showed in the matches we lost. We learned a lot this weekend and will be looking to put some of those things into play over the next few weeks as we get ready for regionals."
