Softball signs transfer pitcher for 2023

ABILENE, Texas - Abigail Farler has announced a transfer addition to their 2022 recruiting class with the signing of Emma Rote out of Southeast Missouri. While Rote was a redshirt in her lone year at SEMO the 6-0 pitcher should provide great size and strength in the circle.

Spent one season with the Redhawks of Southeast Missouri
Lettered in softball
Named All-District, All-Area, and All-State as a senior at Broken Arrow HS
Posted a 5-2 record with a 1.00 ERA in 42 innings in 2020, despite missing most of the season with an injury
Named All-District and All-Area as both a freshman and a sophomore

I am thrilled to welcome Emma to our ACU softball family. Emma is a great fit for us in all areas of what we do as a program. I am excited to see her compete in the circle for us and see what else she can bring to us on the field.
