COLLEGE STATION, Texas – After keeping things close through the first three innings, the Wildcats allowed the Aggies a big fourth inning to run away with the game.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

Texas A&M put two on the board in the second inning to take the early lead.
The Wildcats had runners on in both the second and third innings but failed to get a runner home.
The Aggies held a 4-0 lead heading to the bottom of the fourth before exploding for 14 more runs in the inning.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:

Miranda Lista and Sydney Kaiser each tallied hits for the Wildcats.
Rose Gonzales walked in both of her plate appearances.
Eichelberger's reached base streak came to an end at 21 games, Kaiser's 10-game reached base streak now leads the Wildcats.

ON DECK:

The Wildcats and Aggies will continue their weekend series tomorrow afternoon at 1 p.m. on SEC Network+.
