'Cats dominate Seattle to improve to 2-0 in WAC play

Box Score LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The ACU men's tennis team picked up its' second sweep of a WAC opponent in as many days on Saturday, defeating Seattle 7-0 to close out the weekend.  
 
INSIDE THE MATCH:

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• The doubles tandem of Daniel Morozov and Dario Kmet picked up a 6-2 win in the top flight, while Savan Chhabra and Benjamin McDonald clinched the doubles point with a 7-5 win on Court 3. 
• In singles action, Cano made quick work on Court 5, winning 6-2, 6-2 to push the ACU lead to 2-0. 
• Chhabra followed with the same score in the third flight, and Morozov provided the clinching point after a 6-4, 6-4 victory in the top flight.
• Cesar Barranquero came up with a 6-2, 6-3 victory to make it a 5-0 advantage, paving the way for Kmet and McDonald to finish off the sweep with wins on Courts 2 and 6 respectively. 

 
UP NEXT:

• The Wildcats are back in action on Saturday, when they head to Beaumont to take on two more WAC opponents. ACU faces UTRGV on Saturday before squaring off against Lamar the following afternoon.
