
Pleasant, Kohl earn All-Academic selections

Frisco, Texas - The Southland Conference announced their 2021 All-Academic selections for men's basketball on Tuesday morning with two Wildcats landing on the first team. Both Kolton Kohl and Joe Pleasant earned a place on the first team after finding success both on the court and in the classroom.
Kohl was an automatic selection after being named to the All-Conference first team and maintaining a 3.0 GPA in his MBA program. Pleasant earned his second all-academic first team selection after maintaining a 3.2 GPA as a Business Management major.
This is the second-straight year where the Wildcats have placed two players on the All-Academic First Team, last season Pleasant joined Payten Ricks on the first team.
