ABILENE, Texas— ACU put together a solid performance on Saturday afternoon, but the powerful offense of SFA was too much for the Wildcats as they fell in four sets. The Ladyjacks came into the match with a 5-0 record in Southland play and has won their last four matches in straight sets.
SFA got out to the quick start in set one, going up 6-1 early. The Wildcats slowly battled their way back in the match, chipping away at the Ladyjacks' lead. The team was able to get as close as two points, but the early deficit was too much for ACU to overcome. The Ladyjacks got out to another quick start in set two, but they continued to put the pressure on the Wildcats and earned a dominant 25-10 lead. Katelyn Mueller to take their first lead of the match. The teams traded points early, but ACU broke an 8-8 tie going on a 10-1 run to take a huge 18-9 lead. SFA made a run to get back in the match, but the Wildcats came away with the set win. SFA responded in kind with another quick start to a set, going up 5-1 in the fourth, and the Wildcats were unable to force a fifth set.

News and Notes
- Both teams were extremely efficient in the first set with ACU hitting .257 in the set and SFA hitting .256.
- Katelyn Mueller led all players with 13 kills, but SFA had four different players register double-digit kills.
- The Wildcats continued their steady blocking with eight total blocks on the night. Braden Bossier led the way with six block assists, Mueller had three on the outside, and Emily Van Dyke tallied her first solo block.
- Van Dyke came in the match in the third set and provided a much-needed spark for ACU. She hit .429 in third set with three kills and five digs. She totaled five kills, seven digs and an assist in two sets.
- Mackenzie Harris put together another great performance in the back row with 20 digs on the afternoon.
- The Wildcats handed SFA their first set loss since the Ladyjacks opened their season with a five set win over AMCC.

The Wildcats have another bye week coming up and will not be back home until March 18 when they host Northwestern State at 6 p.m. The team will be back in action on the road on March 11 at Southeastern Louisiana.
