ABILENE, Texas – Wildcat fans will have to wait a little longer to see the Abilene Christian University men's basketball team take the court at the Teague Center this season. Due to a COVID-19 issue on the ACU team, the Friday night home opener with McMurry University has been rescheduled to Saturday, Nov. 27, at 6 p.m.
Tickets purchased for the Nov. 19 game against McMurry will be honored on the rescheduled date, or any other home game the fan chooses.
As a health protocol precaution, the team will also not travel to participate in the Baha Mar Nassau Championship next week.
The Wildcats secured their first win of the season on the road at Texas-Arlington Tuesday night, after two competitive road games with Power 5 opponents Utah and Texas A&M.
