WSOC Position Preview: Midfielders

From Ashley Holton to Julie Coppedge to Shay Johnson, the midfield position for ACU soccer over the years has been played a critical role. As we preview the spring of the 14th season of Wildcat soccer, we continue a four-part position preview series that breaks down the talent and expectations from each spot on the pitch. Today we look at the players who have to do a little bit of everything. It's the midfielders. And ACU has great talent in returning starters Brittney Harris, Natalie Jones, Megan Paul, and Ashley Stamps, as well as Brennan Reuland, and Natalie Wodka.

As a coaching staff, head coach Casey Wilson, associate head coach Neal Ozmun, assistant coach Natalie Rigney, and volunteer assistant coach Aleah Dillard feel they have great depth at the position.

We are excited about the midfield depth this year. There are many capable midfielders on this team who understand what we are trying to do tactically which is comforting going into competing this spring.
