WSOC Position Preview: Forwards
1/26/2021 10:00:00 AM | Women's Soccer
From Lyndsey Womack to Andrea Carpenter to Dylan Owens, the forward position for ACU soccer over the years has been a high-profile spot. And another legend has already cemented her place in Wildcat history. Christina Arteaga heads into the spring of her senior season near the top of almost every statistical category in program history. But this season, she is joined by some incredible talent for head coach Casey Wilson. As we preview the spring of the 14th season of Wildcat soccer, we begin a four-part position preview series that breaks down the talent and expectations from each spot on the pitch. Today we start with the players who garner the most shot attempts, goals, points, and the players who attack opposing defenses. It's the forwards. And ACU has six talents in Arteaga, Addie Bonaventure, Brianna Diaz, Faith Husbenet, Jordan Michie, and Caylen Wright.
