ABILENE – Abilene Christian women's tennis sits at 2-5 on the spring season following a 1-1 weekend in Colorado Springs, where the Wildcats followed a 6-1 win vs. Stetson with a 6-1 defeat to the undefeated Falcons (9-0) of the U.S. Air Force Academy.
Senior Autumn Bellow scored the Wildcats lone point vs. USAFA, defeating Meredith Jones at the No. 3, 6-4, 6-1, for her third win of the year. ACU also came close to upsetting the ITA's 53-ranked doubles team of TJ Fumagalli and Kristin Kerrigan, but this match at No. 1 was left unfinished with junior

Adams and Memishishi are 7-3 together this spring, and 3-2 at the top line.
Friday at Air Force, the Wildcats came within one decision of sweeping the Hatters of Stetson. ACU cleaned up in doubles winning by scores of 6-2, 6-4 and 6-2, and then won four of their six matches in straight sets.

Ileana Mocciola won her lone set vs. Megan Horwitz at No. 6 with the dual already decided, 8-2.
Next up for the Wildcats is a Thursday, Feb. 21 home date vs. their old Lone Star Conference rivals from Tarleton State. ACU also will play host to Oral Roberts that weekend and then play two duals in College Station vs. UTRGV and Texas A&M on Feb. 23.
