ABILENE – ACU baseball head coach Rick McCarty announced last week that two players signed their national letters-of-intent for the 2020-21 season. The Wildcats found talent behind the plate and in the middle infield for next season.
Harrison Caley and Bash Randle will become Wildcats next fall.
"We are extremely excited to welcome Bash & Harrison to the ACU baseball family," stated McCarty. "We believe both will provide immediate impact, as well as long term stability to the middle of the field. With this year's class being unusually small, our staff felt like they both fit the profile we needed to add to our current roster. We love their athleticism and competitiveness."
"We are looking forward to adding more pieces to this class during the spring. I am very thankful for [recruiting coordinator] Blaze Lambert, [assistant coach] Craig Parry, [assistant coach] Daniel Martony for their effort in bringing these players to Abilene. We are fired up about the future of our program."
"Harrison and Bash both have a chance to play a lot during their time at ACU," stated Lambert. "I am really excited to see how they develop over the next few years."
