ACU WBB at McNeese Wednesday night

ABILENE – Abilene Christian women's basketball makes their first Southland Conference road trip Wednesday for a 6:30 game at McNeese. The Wildcats are off to a 2-0 start in league play and are 1-1 all-time at McNeese's Burton Coliseum. Their last appearance there took place in January of 2015.

ACU won the opening game of its two-game season series with Sam Houston State, 83-65, on Dec. 30, 2017. 

Sara Williamson (19), Breanna Wright (17) and Dominique Golightly (10) all scored in double figures ... Williamson and Wright also tied with seven assists ... For Wright this was her sixth career seven-assist game, tying a career high.

The Bearkats' 21 first-half points were an opponent season low for the season.

ACU is off to a 2-0 Southland Conference start for the fourth time in five years.
