ABILENE – Abilene Christian women's tennis will face its third top-25 opponent of the spring Sunday when the Wildcats face No. 16 Texas A&M at the Mitchell Tennis Pavilion.

The Aggies are 4-3 and coming off a 1-2 showing at the ITA National Team Indoor Championships, where they beat Wisconsin, 4-0, and lost 4-1 to No. 7 Virginia and 4-0 No. 14 Duke.

Saska Gavrilovska is A&M's top-ranked singles competitor at No. 54, while in doubles the Aggies are led by the 45th-ranked duo of Rutuja Bhosale and Anna Mamalat. Bhosale defeated ACU's Lucile Pothier, 7-6, 6-2 in the Round of 32 at last fall's ITA Texas Regional Championships.

The Wildcats improved to 6-3 earlier this month after sweeping a home doubleheader vs. UTSA, 4-3, and St. Edward's, 7-0.

Senior Nada Marjanovic has won her last six singles matches and leads the Wildcats with a 9-1 record. Pothier and senior Erin Walker are tied for second on the team with six wins each as ACU is a combined 36-30 (.545) in singles play.

Senior Kaysie Hermsdorf is the Wildcats' winningest doubles player at 11-4, with eight of those wins coming alongside Pothier.
