ABILENE - Abilene Christian women's basketball returns home to Moody Coliseum to play host to the UMKC Kangaroos Saturday at 2 p.m. for the sixth-annual Students' Association Christmas Slam.

Live stats are offered for the game in addition to web and audio streams. The game will air locally on 98.1 FM – The Tickets with Seth Wilson and Mary Kate Rotenberry handling the play-by-play and analysis.

For this year's edition of the Christmas Slam, cookies and pictures with Santa Claus will be available until 1:30 p.m, and in-game prizes include two iPads, plus $1,000 in scholarship money, and a $500 Residence Life giveaway. There also will be a $500 prize awarded to a men's and women's social club. The event is free for all ACU students who show their ID.

This is the second all-time meeting between the Wildcats and 'Roos. The two sides last squared off in November of 2014 with ACU winning, 80-55, to claim first-place honors at the Plaza Lights Classic, which also included a last-second win vs. George Mason.

ACU comes into this game 3-4 and on a three-game road losing streak as the Wildcats dropped a 79-34 decision Thursday night at No. 4 Baylor. The 'Roos, meanwhile, have won their last two games to even their season record at 3-3. One of their victories was a buzzer-beater win Nov. 13 at Wichita State, 56-54. ACU will face the Shockers later this month as part of a four-game, two-day tournament with Murray State.
