ABILENE – Abilene Christian women's basketball completes what it hopes will be an undefeated homestand Friday when it plays host to NAIA Missouri Valley College at 2 p.m. The Wildcats' game against the 3-1 Vikings will have live stats and a free audio stream with Seth Wilson handling the play-by-play.

ACU is coming off one of its biggest victories of the Julie Goodenough era – Monday night's 91-39 thrashing of Southwest in which the Mustangs set several opponent season lows and turned the ball over 38 times. USW's turnover total is the largest registered by a Wildcat opponent in over 15 years, and the Wildcats' 22 steals were their most since a 2004 game vs. Lincoln (25).

More than half (50) of ACU's 91 points were off turnovers. The Wildcats also scored 48 points in the paint, and their bench – led by freshman McKenzie Martin (13 points) and sophomore Sierra Allen (11 points) outscored the Mustangs', 42-17. Allen set several personal single-game bests vs. Southwest, while Martin became the first ACU freshman to lead the team in scoring since Lizzy Dimba did so in the 2013-14 season finale vs. Incarnate Word.

Lizzy and twin sister, Suzzy, each finished with a double-double against the Mustangs. Suzzy had 12 points and 10 rebounds to go with a career-high eight steals, which pushed her team-leading total to 15. She also has the most blocks on ACU with nine and is tied with Whitney Swinford with 13 assists.

Lizzy's double double was composed of 11 rebounds and 12 points as she was a perfect 6-of-6 from the free-throw line. ACU made 87.5 percent (28-32) of its free throws vs. Southwest and banked in 15-of-18 (.833) attempts Saturday in a 79-60 whipping of UTSA.

Prior to this homestand the Wildcats had not recorded free-throw percentages above 80 percent in back-to-back games since a three-game stretch from Feb. 13-19, 2013. During this run ACU was 26-30 (.867) at Midwestern State, 16-18 (.889) at Cameron and 25-31 (.806) vs. Texas Woman's.

Juniors Sydney Shelstead and Alexis Mason carried much of the offensive load vs. the Roadrunners as each totaled 20 points, while Swinford was close behind with 17 points. Shelstead and Mason last scored 20 points in the same game on Feb. 25, 2015 vs. Houston Baptist. Shelstead totaled a career high 27 points in the 68-53 win and Mason poured in 20 points thanks to a 9-11 effort at the free-throw line.

Missouri Valley College is located in Marshall, Mo., and is a member of the Heart of America Athletic Conference. Last year's Vikings went 13-15 overall and were 9-9 vs. their league.

The Wildcats have not lost to a non-NCAA DI opponent since their move to the Southland Conference in 2013-14.
