LAWTON, Okla. – Cameron University went on a 21-7 run midway through the first half to turn a close game into a blowout Saturday afternoon as the Aggies took a 75-61 win over ACU in a Lone Star Conference women's basketball game at Aggie Gym.

With the game tied 15-15 with 13:07 left in the first half, Aggies began the run that would give them the separation they would need to hold off the Wildcats. Lacy Reinke got the run started with a layup with 12:35 left in the half to put Cameron on top 17-15.
Josie Stewart would add a 3-pointer, followed by back-to-back jumpers by Sabelle Diata and a 3-pointer by Alexis Williams to give Cameron a 27-15 lead with 10:19 left in the first half. Diata would then hit a jumper, a 3-pointer and another jump over a 52-second span to push the lead to 32-19 with 9:12 left in the half. The Aggies' lead never dropped below seven points the rest of the way as ACU was never able to mount a charge to overtake Cameron.
