About Tonight's Game: The Wildcats are looking for their second straight win as they host East Central Saturday in Lone Star Conference Crossover action.
ACU has dominated the all-time series with ECU however a young Wildcat squad has struggled early on with only one senior on the roster. Senior Autumn Whitaker has helped pace the Wildcats to two wins in their last three games after returning from a broken nose to average 13.2 points per game.
Whitaker has gotten help from a trio of underclassmen as well including Mack Lankford who leads the Wildcats with 15.4 ppg and Kelsey Smith at 13.1 ppg. Both Lankford and Smith hold season highs as both have put up 32 points this year an individual and team high.
The Tigers are coming off a 69-45 blowout win over a struggling Incarnate Word squad. ECU is led by Casi Rawls averaging 12.3 points per game while the Tigers have struggled offensively shooting below 40 percent on the season, but have held their opponents under 40 as well.
