ABILENE – With Saturday's win the Wildcats stay atop the NCAA Super Region Four rankings released Monday by the NCAA.
ACU holds the top spot with a perfect 10-0 record after clinching the LSC South Division Title and at least a share of the league championship in Saturday's win over West Texas A&M.
A pair of one loss teams follow the Wildcats as Texas A&M-Kingsville sits at No. 2 in the region. The top two teams in each region earn a first round bye in the playoffs as well as the right to host their second round game.
Northwest Missouri State checks in at No. 3 after a narrow last second win against Central Missouri who falls to No. 4.
Holding the final two playoff spots are West Texas A&M at No. 5 and Missouri Western at No. 6. The top six teams from each region advance to the NCAA Division II Playoffs starting next week.
Rounding out the top 10 is Midwestern State at No. 7 followed by last year's No. 1 team Central Washington at No. 8. Washburn, who ACU defeated in the season opener, sits at No. 9 while Humboldt State rounds at No. 10.
