Amy McAlister is in her fourth year in 2020-21 working in the ACU department of athletics as an administrative assistant in the Teague Special Events Center.

McAlister earned her bachelor of arts in speech and language pathology from ACU in 1989 and went on to earn her masters in speech and language pathology from ACU in 1991. She married Kyle McAlister (1989 ACU graduate) in January 1991 and the couple has two daughters: Maggie and Macy, both of whom attend ACU.

McAlister went for the Abilene Independent School District in 2003 before returning to ACU to work in the ACU Department of Mathematics in 2011. She moved over to ACU Athletics in 2013, first working in Moody Coliseum before moving over to the Teague Center in 2015.
