2009 (Sophomore): A full time starter in her second season with ACU at Libero … Edwards led the Wildcats in digs 528 … she finished with over 20 digs in seven games including 26 in the Lone Star Conference Championship rematch with West Texas A&M … she averaged 4.26 digs per set as she was also a solid serving for ACU as she accumulated 26 service aces … Kelsie was also named to the LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll for her hard work as a student athlete
2008 (Freshman): Edwards finished the season with 230 digs and 34 service aces in her first season as a Wildcat. Edwards recorded a career-best 24 digs in an Oct. 21 win over Texas-Permian, and had a double-digit dig total in five other matches on the season.
High school: Edwards lettered three seasons at Highlands Ranch High School for head coach Louis Krauss as a libero and defensive specialist. Edwards tallied over 1,000 digs in her final to seasons with the team. As a senior, Edwards recorded 579 digs to lead the state and helped the team to a 25-6 overall record and a perfect 12-0 district mark. She played in Colorado’s all-state game, and was a first-team all-conference selection. She was the team’s captain and voted the team’s MVP. As a junior she was named the team’s MVP as well and led her team with 466 digs, which also led the state.
Personal: Father, Paul Edwards, played collegiate baseball at Colorado Northwestern Community College. Born 23 Aug. 1990. 2008 graduate of Highlands Ranch High School.
