2009 (Freshmen): Allen saw limted action in her first season with the Wildcats where she played in 16 matches … she added 22 kills for an attacking percentage of .152 … she also accumulated 18 blocks and 13 digs as a true freshmen for ACU

High school:  Allen was one of the top prep players in the Central Texas region the last two years. After being home-schooled as a freshman and sophomore, Allen played at Bracken Christian School as a junior and senior. As a junior she was the district MVP and first team TAPPS all-state as she led her team to the state championship. As a senior she hit .506, averaging 3.3 kills, 0.37 blocks and 0.5 service aces per game. She led her team to records of 32-4 as a junior and 36-4 as a senior. She has played club volleyball since 2002, and won a silver medal in 2004 with the Alamo 13K team in the USA Junior Olympics, and then helped lead her Alamo 15K team to a bronze medal at the 15 Open USA Junior Olympics in 2006.
