2009 (Junior): Moronu continued her outstanding career at ACU becoming one of the best setters in the Lone Star Conference … she was honored being named first team all-Lone Star Conference as she averaged just over 10 assists per set … she added over 1,000 assists for the second straight season moving her into third place on the ACU All-Time list for assists …. Her 1,289 assists was also the eighth best single season total for the Wildcats eclipsing her mark of 1,243 last year … she added over 70 blocks as well for the second straight season giving her 200 blocks for her career as she now sits just outside the top 10 career list … she was named LSC Setter of the Week five times including the last week of the season, helping the Wildcats to a 14 game winning streak to end the season … her hard work in the classroom also earned her a spot on the LSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll

2008 (Sophomore): Moronu was voted second team all-Lone Star Conference after a spectacular sophomore season. She was third in the LSC in total assists (1,243) and third in assists per set at 10.27, one of only three setters in the league to average more than 10 assists per set. She was also second on the team in digs with 364, and she added 113 kills. She had a season-best 59 assists in an Oct. 21 win over Texas-Permian Basin. In three matches at the LSC Post-Season Tournament, Ijeoma recorded 127 assists and 48 digs to earn all-tournament honors. 

2007 (Freshman): Ranked third in the Lone Star Conference in assists with 1,146 that also marked the 10th-highest single-season mark in ACU history. It also moved Moronu to eighth all-time on ACU’s career assists chart in only her first season with the team. She was an honorable mention selection to the AVCA’s all-Southwest Region team and she was a second-team selection on the all-LSC volleyball squad. She was named the LSC’s Setter of the Week two consecutive times (Oct. 29, Nov. 5). She recorded a season-high 59 assists against Eastern New Mexico Sept. 27. Also recorded 251 digs, 94 kills, and 49 blocks proving her skills extend beyond the setter position. 

High school: Moronu played four positions at Paschal High School, where she was a four-year letterwinner. Moronu was a first team all-district selection and first team academic all-state pick as a senior in 2006. As a senior, she finished with 337 kills and 402 assists. As a junior in 2005, she was a first team all-district and academic all-district selection, helping her team win a bi-district championship. As a freshman in 2003, Moronu was her district’s Gatorade Rookie of the Year and MVP.
