Transfers to ACU from Incarnate Word, and she will push for a starting position at outside hitter. 2004-05 (Incarnate Word): Racked up 684 kills and 800 digs in her first two seasons at UIW. Last year as a sophomore she led the Cardinals with 400 kills (3.67 per game) and a .230 hitting percentage to go along with 46 service aces and 371 digs. She was named second team all-Heartland Conference for a team that finished 16-15 and advanced to the conference post-season tournament semifinals. As a freshman she was named the Heartland Conference co-Freshman of the Year after posting 284 kills (2.56 per game), 30 service aces and 429 digs. High school: Silva was a team captain as a senior and was a two-time all-district, all-area and all-Valley Defensive Player of the Year. An all-state selection as a senior, Silva was awarded Best Hitter, Best Server and Best Defensive Player team awards in 2003.
