Will contend for the starting setter job as a senior, and will also play a key role as a defensive specialist. 2005 (Junior): Was one of the Wildcats' key defensive players on the back row as she helped the Wildcats to the best season in program history. She finished third on the team in digs with 322, and she also had 41 assists as the backup setter. She tied her career high in digs in a match (18) in ACU's epic five-game win at West Texas A&M on Nov. 3, a win that clinched the Wildcats’ second straight Lone Star Conference South Division title. 2004 (Sophomore): Was a key role player as the backup setter and on the defensive back row. She had a career-best 18 digs in a Sept. 7 home win over Lubbock Christian, and she had 15 in an Oct. 5 road loss at Lubbock Christian. Had a season-high 11 assists in the Oct. 5 match against Lubbock Christian. She was third on the team in digs with 305, and her average of 2.56 digs per game was third on the team. 2003 (Freshman): Plumlee played in 22 matches (69 games) as a freshman and recorded seven kills, 17 service aces and 186 digs. Her digs-per-game average (2.70) was third highest on the team. High school: Three-year letterwinner at Edmond North HS, Plumlee led her team to a 44-12 record during those three seasons. She was team captain as both a junior and senior, and an all-state selection as a senior in 2002. She led Edmond North to three straight regional championships (2000-02), and a state runner-up finish in 2001. She was the Edmond city MVP in 2002, and the MVP at the 2001 state tournament.
