Farmer will battle for playing time as goalkeeper for the Wildcats as she enters her freshman year. High school: Four-year letterwinner for coach David Wood at Abilene Wylie HS. Played goalkeeper and also as a midfielder. In her senior year, Farmer helped lead her Wylie team to an 18-3-1 overall record, and a regional semifinal appearance. She recorded 16 shutouts that season en route to being named first team all-district at goalkeeper. She was second team all-district her junior year. Personal: Born 21 Sept. 1988. 2007 graduate of Abilene Wylie High School.
