Biography
2008-09 (Junior)
Meyer continued to improve her game as her points and rebounds per game both rose to 8.7ppg and 7.5rpg … she will be the leading returning rebounder for ACU as she finished second last season … she rasied her career high for rebounds as she grabbed 16 and added 18 points against Tarleton (1/28/09) … she recorded five double-doubles on the season including 13 rebounds and tied a career high 20 points in a win over Texas A&M-Commerce … she shot a solid 52% from the field
2007-08 (Sophomore)
Averaged 6.7 points and 5.7 rebounds per game in her sophomore season with the team. Scored 15 points and grabbed 14 rebounds in the season-opener against Incarnate Word Nov. 16, 2007. Meyer grabbed double-digit rebounds in five different games and scored in double figures on eight different occasions. Nearly had a double-double in ACU’s conference opening win over Texas A&M-Commerce when she had eight points and 14 boards. She also scored 10 points in the LSC semifinal loss to Central Oklahoma. Named to the LSC South Division Commissioner’s honor roll.
2006-07(Freshman)
Played in all 29 games for the Wildcats. Was the leading scorer off the bench for ACU as she averaged 6.9 points per game. Was a presence on the boards as well as she averaged 4.7 rebounds a game, which was second on the team behind Audrey Maxwell’s 10.1 average. She scored a career-high 20 points to lead ACU in a 76-64 win against Angelo State on Dec. 5. She grabbed a career-best 10 rebounds in a Nov. 21 win over Texas Lutheran.
High School
A two-time first team all-district selection at Round Rock High School, Meyer averaged a double-double in her senior season as she tallied 14 points and 10 rebounds per game. Meyer was also a first team all-Williamson County selection and a second team all-CenTex her senior year. Meyer won the team MVP award after her junior and senior seasons. She was also a two-time academic all-district selection, and a three-year letterwinner at Round Rock High School. As a senior, Meyer was a top-100 player in Texas by texashoops.com.
Personal
Her twin sister, Jamie, is also a senior on the ACU basketball team. 2006 graduate of Round Rock High School where she played for Amanda Johnson. Born 20 April 1988.
