Knickerbocker enters her first season with the Wildcats after a spectacular high school career at Brownwood High School. High School: Knickerbocker was voted her district's Newcomer of the Year her freshman year, second team all-district as a sophomore year, and first team all-district and first-team all-Big Country by the Abilene Reporter-News her junior year. As a senior, she was a first team all-district, all-region and all-state selection, and she was the Abilene Reporter-News' Class 4A-5A Player of the Year. She was also named to the Reporter-News' Big Country Super Team in 2007. As a senior she averaged 18.5 points, 8.7 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 3.4 steals per game. She set a school record for free throw percentage (93.5 percent) and 3-pointers made as a senior. Personal: 2007 graduate of Brownwood High School where she played for head coach Nikki Heath.
