Returns to the Wildcats for his senior season and should see significant playing time at shooting guard. Ross is one of the best rebounding guards in the Lone Star Conference. 2006-07 (Junior): Appeared in all 26 games for ACU and started 12 times. Finished second on the team in scoring with 11.0 ppg. Ross was also the second-leading rebounder on the team, averaging 5.4 boards per contest. Led ACU in rebounding in 11 games, while leading the Wildcats in scoring five times. Ross' best performance came in a Feb. 19 road loss against Angelo State where he led the Wildcats in both scoring (19) and rebounding (15). Eastfield Junior College: Averaged 18 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 1.8 assists per game in 2005-06 on his way to earning first team all-Metro Conference honors. High School: Played for coach Royce Johnson at Kimball High School in Dallas. Was a high-school teammate of former Wildcats Norman Alexander and Demarcquez Rembert. Personal: Younger brother of former SMU standout and current Los Angeles Clippers guard Quinton Ross. Born 22 Feb. 1985.
