High School: Four-year letterman for head coach Joseph Gillespie. Helped Stephenville High to a 40-11 record for four years. Played in 2010 FCA All-Star Classic at Shotwell Stadium in Abilene after senior season. Was first team all-state defensive lineman and named DFW all-area first team. Helped Stephenville to region championship and state quarterfinalist. Was also two-year letterman in baseball and track and field.
