Hogan is listed as the Wildcats' starter at defensive tackle entering the 2007 season.

2006 (Sophomore): Enjoyed a breakout season on the ACU defensive line, earning honorable mention all-Lone Star Conference South Division honors. Hogan finished with 22 tackles (11 solo), six tackles for loss, one sack (for a 16-yard loss), two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and one quarterback hurry. In the Wildcats' season-opening win over Central Oklahoma, Hogan forced and recovered a fumble late in the game to stop a UCO drive and give the Wildcats a 24-18 win.

2003 (Freshman): Played in one game, finishing with two tackle(one solo) and one-half sack for minus-four yards.

High school: Was the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal's Class 2A All- South Plains Player of the Year in 2001. Hogan rushed for 1,006 yards on 150 carries during the 2001 regular season, earning a spot on the North roster for the Texas High School Coaches' Association All-Star Game. He spent the 2002-03 school year at South Plains College playing basketball.
