2008 (Sophomore): Played in four games for the Wildcats, finishing with one tackle (solo) and one tackle for loss (minus-9 yards in loss).
2007 (Redshirt freshmen): January played in seven games for the Wildcats, finishing with eight tackles (five solo), two tackles for loss and one sack. In the Wildcats’ 58-7 win over Northeastern State on Oct. 6, January had three tackles (two solo) to go along with 1.5 tackles for loss and one sack. The week before (Sept. 29) in a
High school: As a senior he led Class 3A in sacks with 13 while also posting 91 tackles (62 solo), three caused fumbles, three fumble recoveries, and 13 tackles for loss. He was the district MVP, a first team all-region, first team all-CenTex and first team all-state selection.
