Listed as the backup to Nathan Young at right guard entering the 2007 season. Groh spent the 2006 season as a redshirt.
High school: Lettered as a senior at Plano Senior HS, which rebounded from an 4-6 record in 2004 to finish 13-1 in 2005, losing only to mythical national champion Southlake Carroll, 37-27, in the Region I Division II final.
Personal: Groh's great-grandfather, Heinie Groh, was the National League Most Valuable Player in 1914 while playing for the Cincinnati Reds. Groh was elected to the Reds' Hall of Fame in 2005. Born 12 June 1988. 2006 graduate of Plano Senior High School.
