High school: Starter at center on Evangel Christian Academy team that finished the 2012 season at 12-3 and reached the Louisiana Class 2A state championship game where it lost to national powerhouse John Curtis Christian High School. Curtis finished the season as the consensus national championship, according to five of the seven most widely regarded high school football polls. Fodale also started as a junior at Evangel Christian, helping the Eagles to an 8-6 record. Played in the Max Emfinger All-American Bowl in January was named the Bowl Game Offensive Lineman co-MVP, helping the West Team to a 14-10 victory. He was an honorable mention selection to the Class 2A all-state team by the Louisiana Football Coaches’ Association after his senior season. A three-year starter at center at Evangel Christian Academy, Fodale has been snapping out of the shotgun since the seventh grade.
