2006 (Saddleback): All-conference defensive lineman who led all league linemen in tackles and sacks. Played for 11-1 Saddleback team that lost to El Camino Junior College, 31-29, in the state regional semifinals. Saddleback finished No. 3 in the final junior college national poll.

High school: As a senior, Rippey led his team in tackles and sacks and was named the team's defensive MVP.
