Will redshirt as a freshman in 2007.

High school:  Christian played both quarterback and free safety as a three-year letterman at Concordia Lutheran High School.  He helped direct his teams to a combined 26-10 record in three seasons, including a 10-3 mark as a senior in 2006.  As a senior he was team co-captain and MVP, first team all-state as both a quarterback and defensive back, and a unanimous first team all-district selection at both positions.  As a quarterback he completed 110 of 194 passes for 1,878 yards and 27 touchdowns while rushing for 936 yards and 14 touchdowns on 132 carries.  As a free safety, he intercepted five passes, broke up 12 passes, recorded 68 tackles (55 solo), had two forced fumbles and three blocked kicks.  Christian also lettered in track and field and baseball.

Personal:  He played for his father, Bruce Christian, at Concordia Lutheran.  Both of his parents, Bruce and Suzanne Christian, were award-winning athletes at Texas Lutheran University with his father earning all-NAIA honors in football and his mother leading the Lady Tigers to a fourth-place finish at the 1983 NAIA national volleyball tournament.
