Biography

2024-2025

Cross Country – ran in all 6 XC meets on the year for ACU. She finished top-2 in 3 meets – including the #1 finisher for the Wildcats in the Gans Creek Invitational in Columbia, MO. She would also finish as the #2 finisher for ACU in both the Arturo Barrios Inv and the South Central Region XC Championship – both races being held at the TAMU course in College Station. She finished the season strong as she ran her best time of the year in the 6K XC with a 22:05 in the regional meet. Indoor track – ran in 3 meets, including a 9th place finish in the 5K in an indoor personal best of 18:36.96 at the Jarvis Scott Invitational at Texas Tech. She did not compete at the WAC indoor championship. Outdoor track – competed in 4 meets, including an 8th place finish in the 5K at the Michael Johnson Invitational at Baylor in a personal best time of 18:10.78. She finished her first year of collegiate competition with a flourish as she placed 6th at the WAC Outdoor Championship in the 10K with a time of 37:17.67 in her first-ever competitive 10K.

Before ACU

Hannah spent her senior year competing for Cambridge Christian in Tampa, where she finished 2nd in the Florida 1A 3200 at the Florida state meet. Her PR time of 11:00.60 at the state meet was the 26th best time among Florida high schoolers. Earlier in the year, she finished 3rd in the Florida State Indoor meet in the 3k with a PR time of 10:17.00. Indoors, she also placed 30th in the New Balance Nationals indoor 5K with a PR time of 18:12. During the fall of her senior year, she placed 7th in the FL 1A XC meet. In her junior year, competing at the Florida Region 3-2A meet, she finished 6th in the 3200 and 8th in the 1600. Hannah competed her first 2.5 years of HS for Clearwater Calvary Christian HS and placed 25th in the FL 2A XC in her junior year. She was XC MVP for her school in her junior and senior year and the T&F MVP as a senior. She is also the school record holder for Calvary Christian in the 4x800 relay.

Personal

Hannah graduated with her Associates degree from St Petersburg College in the spring of 2024, based on dual credit courses she took during high school. She received both the Athletic Director’s Scholar-Athlete Award and the Administrator Scholar Award from Calvary Christian. She also received the Michael Trill Scholarship and the West Florida Y Runners Club 2024 Scholarship. She is an Interior Architecture major at ACU. Her parents, James and Lindsey Kasper, were both collegiate distance runners – James at Stetson University and Lindsay at Flagler College. Hannah also has three brothers – Henry, Carderock, and Van – as well as a sister, Kassiah. She is also active has her home church – BLDG 28 Church in Clearwater, FL.
