Will work out of the bullpen and could be a spot-starter for the Wildcats as a junior. 2007 (Sophomore):_ Appeared in 23 games with one start as a sophomore. Had a solid season, throwing 44.0 innings and striking out 25 batters while walking just 12. He finished with a 2-1 record and 4.50 ERA. He picked up his first collegiate victory on April 3 in the Wildcats’ 18-7 win over Incarnate Word. In that game, Sullivan worked 2 1/3 innings, giving up five hits and two runs (both earned) while walking one and striking out one batter. He picked up his victory as a starter on April 24 in the Wildcats’ 2-1 win over the Falcons of Texas-Permian Basin. In that game, Sullivan worked six strong innings, allowing just four hits and one run while walking a pair of batters and striking out one. 2006 (Freshman): Was a surprise contributor out of the Wildcats’ bullpen as a freshman, finishing with 12 relief appearances and a 4.76 ERA. Had a career-best five strikeouts in 2 2/3 innings of work in an April 15 loss against Texas A&M-Kingsville. High school: Sullivan helped the Eagles to a second straight Class 5A playoff berth in 2005 as AHS finished third in the district. Sullivan was a first team all-District 3-5A infielder as a senior, hitting .396 during the season. He also saw time on the mound for the Eagles.
