Will battle Minor Alexander for the starting spot in right field after transferring from the College of the Siskiyous. 2006 Football (ACU): Played football for the Wildcats in the fall, playing in four games as a kicker. He finished the season with eight points on five extra points and one field goal. 2005-06 (College of the Siskiyous): He was a first team all-Grand Valley Conference outfielder last year as he led the league in hitting at .444. He had 64 hits and scored 24 runs while driving in 27 runs to go along with 12 doubles, four triples, one home run and nine stolen bases. As a freshman placekicker, O'Neill connected on 8 of 13 field goal attempts and 23 of 24 extra-point attempts on his way to first team all-Mid Empire Conference honors. High school: As a senior at South Medford HS, he was 9 for 11 in field goal attempts, and he hit all 30 of his extra-point attempts to help his team finish 10-1. The valedictorian of his senior class, O'Neill led South Medford to the Class 4A state championship in soccer in 2004, and he was named the Oregon Athlete of the Year.
