Biography

2009 (Sophomore): Hutt added to her all-conference accolades being named second team all-Lone Star Conference … she was second for ACU with 348 kills and a .235 attacking percentage … she nearly accumulated 400 points as she was third with 392 … she added 49 blocks for the Wildcats fifth best as she in just six blocks shy of 100 for her career … she posted nine double-doubles in kills and digs including 14 a piece in the LSC Championship game against West Texas A&M

2008 (Freshman): Earned honorable mention all-Lone Star Conference honors after leading the Wildcats in kills (371) and kills per game (3.09) while racking up 295 digs and 45 total blocks.   Hutt recorded a double-digit kill total in 17 matches, including a career-high 23 kills in an Oct. 21 win over Texas-Permian Basin. In the Wildcats’ three-match run to the Lone Star Conference Post-Season Tournament championship match, Hutt had 37 kills, 42 digs and seven total blocks. She had a career-best 24 digs in the semifinal win over Tarleton State, and then came back the next night with 17 kills, 10 digs and four total blocks in the championship match loss to West Texas A&M. She was voted to the all-tournament team for her efforts.

High school: Hutt lettered four seasons for head coach J.J. Toczek at La Vista HS. Hutt helped lead her team to a 37-6 record her senior season and led the squad to a state championship. The outside hitter recorded 432 kills, tallied 402 digs, had 38 service aces and 29 blocks. In her final season with the team she was named to the Nebraska state tournament’s all-tournament team. She served as the team captain, was an all-state selection and was an all-star selection by the Nebraska Coaches’ Association. As a junior, she was an all-state honorable mention selection after posting 402 kills, 295 digs, 54 service aces and 23 blocks. She also lettered three seasons for La Vista’s tennis program where she was a three-time state qualifier and a two-time academic all-metro selection. 

Personal:  Her brother, Brad Hutt, played four seasons as a pitcher at NCAA Division I Kansas State University and is now a graduate assistant athletic trainer at ACU. He was a 2007 all-Big XII Tournament selection in 2007. Born 30 March 1990. 2008 graduate of La Vista High School.
