Leone returns for her senior season at middle blocker after sitting out the 2008 season with a knee injury. 

2007 (Junior):  Leone led the Wildcats in hitting percentage (.263) and service aces (32) while she was second on the Wildcats’ squad in both kills (244) and blocks (71). Her hitting percentage ranked her sixth in the LSC, which helped her earn all-LSC honors for the third consecutive season. She posted a season high 18 kills against Texas A&M Kingsville Sept. 22 and had a season high six total blocks on two occasions (Aug. 24 vs. Metro State, Sept. 8 vs. Fort Hays State). Leone moved to eighth all time on ACU’s career list for blocks after tallying 242 total blocks through her first three seasons. The Arlington native was named to the LSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the second straight season. 

2006 (Sophomore):  Leone played in all 108 games for the Wildcats. Posted 277 kills for the season and also had the highest hitting percentage in the LSC South with a .287 mark. Her best match of the season came on Oct. 6 against Midwestern State when she finished with 19 kills and a hitting percentage of .607. She also was rewarded for her academics by making the Commissioner’s Honor Roll. 

2005 (Freshman):  Voted the Lone Star Conference South Division’s Freshman of the Year after posting 152 kills and a .265 hitting percentage. She posted a career-high 10 kills in an Oct. 14 win at Cameron. She also had nine kills in Oct. 15 win at Texas Woman’s and Oct. 25 at Angelo State.

High school:  Part of a Lamar HS team that won the District 7-5A title in 2004 and beat cross-town rival Arlington High for the first time in eight years. Lamar went on to win the district title and Leone was a first team all-district selection. Leone was a second team all-district selection in 2003 and was a 2004 honorable mention all-state selection at middle blocker.
