ABILENE, TEXAS — Abilene Christian women's soccer team proudly announces its No. 7 ranking in the latest NCAA Division I Pacific Region poll by United Soccer Coaches, following a strong start to the 2025 season.
The Wildcats have opened the 2025 campaign with an impressive 3-1 record, highlighted by gritty performances both at home and on the road.
ACU began the year with a hard-fought 1-0 victory at UTEP before dropping a close 0-1 match against New Mexico State. The team quickly rebounded with back-to-back home wins, knocking off Tulsa 1-0 in their home opener and following it up with another 1-0 triumph over Houston Christian.
Behind a balanced attack and disciplined defending, the Wildcats have shown consistency early in the season that helped propel them into the No. 7 spot in the Pacific Region rankings.
