
Five ACU Baseball Players Named to CSC Academic All-District Team

ABILENE — Abilene Christian proudly announces that five standout student-athletes from its baseball program have been named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team. This prestigious recognition honors excellence both on the field and in the classroom.
The honorees include first-baseman Grant Watkins, shortstop Nick Arias, pitcher Dominick Reid, outfielder Reese Borho, and pitcher Chandler Benson. Each has demonstrated exceptional performance and commitment, contributing significantly to the Wildcats' successful season.
Grant Watkins (JR - Los Alamos, NM)
- GPA: 3.71
- Major: Kinesiology
- Started in 56 games
- Helped lead the team offensively, with a total of 16 home runs, 55 RBIs and a .593 slugging %
Nick Arias (JR - Tucson, AZ)
- GPA: 3.70
- Major: Criminal Justice
- Started in 50 games
- 4th on the team with runs scored at 40, with a total of 55 hits and 43 RBIs
Dominick Reid (JR - Little Elm, TX)
- GPA: 3.50
- Major: Sociology
- Started in 15 games
- Pitched 88.1 innings, with 6 wins
- Lead the conference in strikeouts with 112, first in ACU DI era to hit 100+
- First Team All-Conference
Reese Borho (SO - Abilene, TX)
