ACU Athletics Announces 2025 Football Promotional Schedule

ACU Athletics has released its promotional schedule for the Wildcats' five home football games in 2025.
The home opener vs. Stephen F. Austin on Sept. 6 will be ACU's Salute to Service game in honor of first responders and members of the U.S. military. The Sept. 20 matchup with Austin Peay will serve as the annual Purple Out game during ACU's Family Weekend. All fans are encouraged to wear purple and help create a sea of Wildcat pride throughout the stadium.
The Wildcats welcome North Alabama on Oct. 4 for Big Country Day, a celebration of the Abilene community and the people, businesses, and culture that make the Big Country region special.
ACU faces rival Tarleton State for Homecoming 2025 on Nov. 1. It will be the Wildcats' first Homecoming held in November since 1971. The following Saturday -- Nov. 8 -- ACU hosts Utah Tech for its Sideline Scholars / Senior Day game. ACU will invite local elementary school students to experience campus life and cheer on the Wildcats, while also honoring the senior class for their contributions to the program.
