The Abilene Christian department of athletics is pleased and grateful to announce a record-setting amount of gifts and donated dollars were made during the 2025 ACU Gives campaign in April.
Just over $475,000 was given to athletics -- an increase of nearly 28% from 2024's event. There were 907 total gifts made, which was up from 876 last year.
The totals mark the fourth consecutive year that athletics has broken its record for both money raised and individual gifts.
"We are incredibly blessed by the outpouring of support we've received from our generous fans and donors who believe in our mission of Christian higher education and nationally competitive Division I athletics," ACU's vice president for athletics Zack Lassiter said. "These gifts will have a massive impact on our athletics programs, and help them enhance the student-athlete experience in many ways. Our students, coaches, staff and I are all so thankful for our Wildcat supporters."
The women's basketball program raised the most money during ACU Gives with $93,667 in donations, followed by women's golf's $71,601.
The ACU volleyball team received the most unique gifts with 134. Baseball was second with 107 gifts.
