Box Score ABILENE – The ACU Wildcats won their sixth straight match Sunday afternoon with a 6-1 win over Trinity University at the Teague Special Events Center.
ACU – 6-4 on the season – won all three doubles and the top five singles matches to secure the team victory. ACU's Daniel Morozov won his matches at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles, improving to 5-3 in singles and 5-3 in doubles play this spring.
Morozov – who teamed with Benjamin McDonald for a 6-3 win over Rocco Mendez and Kishan Kersten at No. 1 doubles on Sunday – is now 4-0 with McDonald as his partner. He's 1-2 with Merse Deli and 0-1 with Ethan Scribner.
The Wildcats are back in action Saturday (Feb. 22) against Lamar at the Teague Special Center. The next Thursday (Feb. 27), ACU will begin Western Athletic Conference play against UT-Arlington at home.
