ACU Athletics has announced the promotion of Kaylee Kahn ('24) to the position of director of creative services, recognizing her leadership, creativity, and continued contributions to advancing the ACU Athletics brand.
In her new role, Kahn will lead all idea generation, creation, and management of ACU brand assets across marketing, athletics development, licensing, in-arena experiences, and social media platforms. She will be responsible for shaping the visual look and creative direction of the department, ensuring consistency with ACU's established brand guidelines and mission.
"Kaylee has played a key role in elevating the creative vision of ACU Athletics," said Michael Smoose, executive associate athletic director for external operations. "Her innovative approach to storytelling and her ability to bring our brand to life across all platforms make her the perfect fit for this leadership position."
In her new position, Kahn will provide strategic direction and oversight of design and development processes for communication projects spanning print, digital, video, social media, and email marketing. She will also champion world-class storytelling, ensuring all creative content aligns with departmental objectives and ACU's brand strategy.
Among her key responsibilities, Kahn will:
	- Lead the development and execution of creative strategies across all ACU Athletics media channels.
- Shape visual identity and set the graphic plan for the department in alignment with university branding.
- Provide creative support for print, digital, and signage projects, ensuring quality and timeliness.
- Collaborate cohesively with internal creative, marketing, communications, and Learfield staff.
- Drive brand awareness and engagement through innovative content and visual storytelling.
- Oversee a strategically connected global editorial calendar across key platforms including Instagram, TikTok, X, and Facebook.
- Translate data, insights, and audience behavior into actionable creative strategies that deliver measurable results.
Kahn joined ACU Athletics as the creative media coordinator in June 2024 and served as the social media manager for all athletics accounts. She also oversaw the creative direction of all photography and videography needs for ACU Athletics, including directing hte creative services student intern program.
Kahn was hired shortly after graduating cum laude from ACU with a bachelor's of science in journalism.
While a student, Kahn was a social media content creator for the Wildcat baseball team from 2022-2024. She traveled with the team and used photography, videography and graphic design to double the amount of followers on Instagram and X in one year. Those accounts became the most followed of any ACU sport.
Kahn also worked as the assistant sports director at The Optimist, the university's student newspaper, and was an on-camera talent for ACUTV. Kahn was the president of Tri Kappa Gamma during her senior year and also worked as the ACU Student Alumni Association secretary for an academic year.
