Box Score ABILENE — The ACU men's tennis team ran its winning streak to three straight matches Thursday afternoon with a 7-0 non-conference win over UT-Rio Grande Valley in the Teague Special Events Center.
The Wildcats are now 3-4 after the win over the Conquistadors, who are 0-4 after the loss. The match was the second of seven straight home matches for the Wildcats, who will play Hardin-Simmons at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Following that match, the Wildcats will be off until Feb. 14-15 when they will host Tyler Junior College (Feb. 14) and Trinity (Feb. 15) before closing out the home stand against Lamar (Feb. 22), and against UT-Arlington on Feb. 27 in the first Western Athletic Conference match of the season.
The Wildcats won two of three doubles matches — at Nos. 1 and 3 doubles — to take the doubles point and a 1-0 lead. Reigning Western Athletics Conference Men's Singles Player of the Week Daniel Morozov teamed with Benjamin McDonald to take a 7-5 win at No. 1 doubles. Martin Delindo and Merse Deli won by the same score at No. 3 doubles for a 1-0 ACU lead.
ACU swept all six singles matches with only one match — Dennis Dutine at No. 2 singles — going three sets. Dutine was able to hold off Ivo Isqueiro for a 7-5, 3-6, 7-5 win.
