PHOENIX – Abilene Christian out-hit Grand Canyon 11-6 but couldn't push any runs across after a two-run first inning and lost 3-2 on Saturday.
Miller Ladusau had a double for his career-record 257th hit.
Gino D'Alessio singled in a run and later scored on a wild pitch in the first inning.
Iain Campa took a no-hitter into the fifth inning but was charged with three runs in the inning and took the loss.
Caden Greanead pitched 3.1 innings of one-hit, shutout relief with three strikeouts.
