DOUBLE STUFF: Abilene Christian ranks seventh in the NCAA with 1.81 doubles per game. The Wildcats also are 14th nationally with 76 doubles this season. The ACU Division I era record was 75, set last season. It was broken when on
Catrin Hoffman's second double of the game in the opener with Texas-Arlington last weekend.
Olivia Marble broke the single-season individual record this season with her 14th double and teammate
Sammie Shelander is right behind her at 12.

BENNETT'S BAT: Kaydee Bennett is second in the WAC with a .497 on-base percentage, a .431 batting average and five triples. She's also third with 0.88 runs per game.

PARTNERS IN CRIME: ACU is second in the Western Athletic Conference with 1.33 stolen bases per game.

LAST SERIES: The Wildcats went 1-2 at home against UT Arlington after losing the first two games on Friday.

SERIES IMPACT: Finishing with the top two teams in the WAC standings, ACU is tied for seventh in the WAC with Stephen F. Austin. The Cats own that tiebreaker and SFA has the same opponents remaining. Southern Utah looks primed to make a late move.

SCOUTING CBU: California Baptist is the best fielding team in the WAC. Kayla Lyon is sixth nationally with 18 doubles. Lyon leads the Lancers with eight home runs and 39 RBIs. CBU is hitting .320 as a team, led by Merissa Borkowski at .400. The Lancers have a 2.94 team earned run average, led by Presley Hosick at 2.49.
